At Sunrise Health we feel that acknowledging people's strengths is important.
When the practice was established it commenced with the vision to provide developmentally appropriate, play-based programming that is fun for children. This vision continues with the acknowledgement that it is important for parents and families to improve their knowledge and skills through active involvement and support; taking a hands on approach to their child's development. All people have strengths that can be enhanced and needs be developed through a positive approach and fun.
In 2007, due to the expansion of the practice and new services provided, the practice was renamed Sunrise Health. Services are provided in various settings including clinic-based, in educational settings, at training venues, at sporting venues, and at the child’s home.
We have the opportunity to be involved in many dynamic and innovative programs that all focus on enhancing the health and well being of children and expanding the skills and knowledge of those who work with them. You can read about some of these programs on the Programs page.
With the team having worked in Australia and overseas in government and Private Practices it is wonderful to have the opportunity to provide services in the Hastings and Macleay Valley with a range of inspiring and energetic professionals and families.
With government initiatives such as Health Fund Rebates, Medicare Helping Children with Autism and FaHCSIA- Helping Children with Autism initiative it is great to see that private health services are accessible.
With the support of schools, families, health professionals and government organisations Sunrise Health can continue to deliver quality and fun health care services for children and those that care for them.
